THE ROLE OF MASS MEDIA IN FORMING A POSITIVE IMAGE OF AN EMPLOYEE OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS BODIES

Abstract: the article is devoted to the formation of a positive image of an employee of internal affairs bodies using the mass media. The author examines the main directions of informational-educational work in internal affairs bodies with the media, and proposes the interaction of internal affairs bodies with the media to promote a positive image of the police officer based on the formation of effective strategies of promotion and communication to the public by type of advertising and marketing representation in the print media, including comic books, presentations, surveys; in film; in literature and painting etc. It is concluded that the technology of forming a positive image of a police officer is a complex and multi-component activity that needs to attract creative people of various professions, including those not related to employees of internal affairs bodies.
