INFLUENCE OF THE POSITIVE IMAGE OF THE POLICE STAFF ON THE INTERACTION OF THE INTERIOR BODIES WITH INSTITUTIONS OF CIVIL SOCIETY

Abstract: in the article, the authors attempted on the basis of summarizing the experience of internal affairs bodies and the conducted research to highlight the factors of a positive image of the police and consider their impact on interaction with civil society institutions in various organizational and tactical forms.

To achieve these goals, we studied the domestic experience of forming a positive image of law enforcement officers; identified and analyzed the objective factors that contribute to and hinder the effective organization and participation of citizens in the process of law enforcement and the fight against crime; formulated practical proposals for the adoption of measures to create a positive opinion on the activities of law enforcement agencies One of the conceptual conditions for the development of internal affairs agencies at the present stage is the dominant strategy of police activities based on comprehensive and effective cooperation with civil society in preventing the destructive impacts of individuals on law and order and public welfare. Based on the results of the research, it is assumed that a favorable or positive image of law enforcement agencies must meet the requirements that society places on a collective image of a police officer, in other words, what society wants to see the ideal defender of law and order.
